Errands around Changzhou!

The indoor market:
This is a shopping meca!  You can go here and find just about anything from clothes, shoes, frames, hangers, plants, silk flowers, toys, etc.  I went on a trip to buy a frame but I was able to take a few photos.  Basically the shops are booths that are owned by individuals and they are very crowded with items.  There are 5 stories i believe in this particular mall, the first two floors are clothes and shoes while the other floors are everything else.  It can be quite tedious to walk through with Blake and see everything but there is A LOT to see!

Flower Shop:
These are some flowers from my local flower shop.  Most commonly here I am finding Lilies, sunflowers and roses.  I did find some pretty carnations on my last trip.  For Lilies they are 1-3 rmb each, daisies 2 rmb each, roses for a dozen was 40 rmb.  6rmb= $1 usd.  They do have some lovely flowers :)  There are lots of individual sellers too as you go walking through town.

Went to print photos.  In my unpacking i realized I was thinking when i sent these boxes from the U.S. and  packed Blake's scrapbook that i started for his first year and never finished.  (don't judge me)  Luckily I was good at taking photos each month and at milestones and I have some free time now so I am getting it done!  Printed 89 photos today and i am going to get to it on this scrapbook before the next baby arrives!  Just a couple photos of the shop I go to, they do a lot of printing for companies it seems such as blue prints and such, but they also do personal calendars, cards, and photo books.  They print the photos off in sheets instead of on individually cut rectangles but they work just the same!

A trip to Ham Bow Wong. At least this is what it sounds like when they say Burger King!  So there is one location in our city, we have gone by twice and its been PACKED!  I was out and about today and asked the driver if we could stop to get food to go as a little treat for me and Blake!  The menu is similar to at home, i tried to get a good photo of the one with English on it so you can see, hard to read.  Also a photo below of my Chinese size Go Large meal!  I think this is considered a small in the good old USA :)  They also have Pepsi which seems to be very uncommon compared to Coca-Cola in China.

Off to Shanghai tomorrow for my 20 week ultrasound and then a trip to the Dinosaur Park on Sunday should give me lots to write about next!  Until then....
