Some random things in China and a few photos!

Since last time i didn't include any photos I made it a point to take a few more to include.  I know everyone is curious about the differences in China and what the city looks like.  For those that don't know we are living in a fairly modern/new city in China about 2 1/2 hours northwest of Shanghai.  Changzhou is where Brian's company decided to build their plant and where we will be living for the next two years...just in case you want to come visit!

There never seems to be soap or towels when using the public restrooms.  There are however lots of public restrooms on the side of the streets!

There are scooters and then there are motorized bicycles, look out for both!

Honking is just an FYI here no aggression meant.  And they do it ALL the time!!!

When you go into the market you will find swimming eel, frogs, fish that you can purchase for your dinner!

Tianning Temple has many different Buddha statues and a very high Pagoda!  We took some people from the US there to site see.

You go to the hospital for a broken arm, pediatric check up, or just to get your teeth cleaned!

Each night in our hotel seems to be different, some nights we get a fruit platter, other nights its cookies, and a sheet placed at the side of our bed with slippers, they maids even turn on lights we can't find the switch too, they keep us on our toes!  They give you two coffee cups, with two saucers and two small spoons, we are now only down to one spoon, not sure why?  In addition, we had two bath robes, we now have none.  Its quite interesting around here!

Starbucks appears to be the only coffee shop with Decaf coffee.

Scaffolding is made of bamboo.  There are crazy elevator on the sides of buildings they are using to build with.

Wearing leggings or panty hose is incredibly popular here!  So are short dresses, skirts and shorts so i guess they go hand in hand.

Some little babies walk around with their tushy hanging out.  They either have the pants with a slit and wear a diaper still, or they have no diaper and go potty wherever they please so watch out on the sidewalk!

There are dogs here that are just pets!  Still haven't seen any cats though and birds are even more rare.

They have an aquarium similar to the one at AZmills mall for those familiar with that one!  They had some interesting items in the vending machine, i couldn't read the labels.  Then there was a chocolate shop with fish shaped chocolates!

Food labels include how much "energy" is in the product.  This is Kellogg's Coco Balls!

That is about all that i have to share for now.  Next time i will have the interesting details on moving into our apartment and filling the kitchen with food!
