Grocery Store Trip

So we went to the grocery store yesterday!  I am learning being a SAHM you go to the store in the middle of the week when no one is there and its ok if your kid is running around you a little bit, but on Sunday the parking lot was full and the store was pretty crowded.  I am not sure why i am surprised but it has been weeks since i have been to a grocery store on a Sunday.  Luckily i had Brian with me and he kept Blake busy while i looked through the aisles for what i need for breakfast, lunch and dinners this week!  

It seems in China that even though there is a sign for the aisle such as sweets or frozen this is very vague and you are better off (until you know the store) to go up and down every aisle to see what you need and be sure not to miss anything you might want!  This would have driven me crazy in the US but the amount of aisles are less here too.  On our trip to the store here are some of the interesting items we picked up or saw.  I know everyone is interested in how the food tastes, what we have eaten, where we are going and what we see so I will try to continue to write posts that give you a little look into our daily routines and lives.  

Popcorn?!?!? Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate or Peach?  (they did have kettle and butter too)

MSG anyone????

If it didn't say in English Rocky Road I wouldn't know what flavor it was!

When you got to Metro this is how you buy bananas!  Luckily Blake eats them all the time!!!!

Do you want Salty Flavor Bread?  They also have Sweet and Nutritious!

Add some water and you have chicken broth for recipes!

Milk!  Skim milk and whole milk(long life milk) !

Frosted Flakes!  When you buy the ones from the US they are very expensive, these are apparently manufactured in Thailand so they are much cheaper and They're GREAT!

So these are just a few things from our trip to the store.  I was also able to stock up on some frozen items (chicken nuggets and pizza), pasta, canned soup, snacks, chips, and fruit!
