Almost 7 Months Old!!!

So its been a while since i have had time to get on here and blog.  Baby Blake has me wrapped around his finger and that means no time to blog :)  All my extra time goes to relaxing, cleaning or hanging out with my wonderful husband!  I am on vacation this week, sparing me a little time to be on the computer more than apps on my phone.

The past few months have flown by!  I have gone back to work and Blake started daycare, he loves to go everyday and see all the fun kids and Miss Lisa who spend every day with him!  I feel so lucky to have found a second home for Blake where he is comfortable and has sibling like friends.  It makes leaving him each day to go to work that much easier knowing he is in a caring place and it feels like home to him.

Making great strides in the past three months Brian and I have been by his side to watch all the changes from grabbing things, passing them between his hands, to putting everything in his mouth!  He sleeps through the night for 10 hours, but let me tell you, every morning at 5am he is up no matter if it is Saturday or Tuesday :) Right before his 6 month check up he started rolling over back and forth, he just started to sit up on his own although if something catches his eye and he turns, down he goes!  He has started to eat baby food, so far we love CARROTS! and have a dislike for apples (too tart).  But he makes a mess and we laugh each time he tries to feed himself with the spoon.  All the little moments are what make me smile and laugh the most!  While on vacation this past week in Coronado Island, CA Blake's first tooth finally cut through the gum after a few grumpy days and I feel for the little guy, that has to be painful! 

Yesterday was the best, we put Blake in his bouncer/exersaucer and boy can that kid jump!  He was bouncing and we were singing to him, what a sight to see how happy it made him to jump up and down and giggle!  I love these moments when we just enjoy him!

As many of you know, being a mommy is a tough job but so rewarding, I can't imagine our lives without him and the joy he brings into my life each and every day.  While I can't believe he will be 7 months on May 27th I have enjoyed the past 7 months more than any other year in the past 29 i have been around.  Life is good.
